ER The Provincial Local Government Unit of Nueva Vizcaya has opened applications for the `Gayyem Ti Umili' or SAGUT Scholarship Program to support deserving students of Nueva Vizcaya State University. According to South Korea's Education Ministry, all classes at CNUT will be conducted in Korean, making language preparation a key focus of the new education centers.Students will complete their first two years in Uzbekistan before becoming eligible to continue studies in South Korea after meeting academic and Korean language proficiency requirements. The program is open to incoming first-year and currently enrolled students at the Bayombong and Bambang campuses of the university.Backed by an annual budget of 18.75 million, the scholarship supports 300 students across the province's 15 municipalities. Since its launch in 2018, the initiative has already produced 300 graduates.The scholarship prioritizes students from economically disadvantaged sectors, including children of solo parents, displaced overseas workers, persons with disabilities, and orphans, reinforcing the province's commitment to inclusive and accessible education.
