It welcomes applicants from creative, technical, engineering and management fields, rather than limiting entry to traditional design graduates. Accredited by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and supported by NASAD accreditation, the two-year part-time degree is delivered through evening classes at the RIT Dubai campus.Students can choose three electives from other RIT Dubai master's programmes to customise their pathway. The curriculum emphasises real-world projects, industry collaboration and human-centred solutions.President Dr Yousef Al Assaf said the programme supports the UAE's shift towards a knowledge-based economy and aligns with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33. Applications open in October 2026, with the first intake beginning in January 2027. ERThe National University of Singapore officially launched the National Centre for Engineering Biology (NCEB) on 5 October 2026, together with its new research facility. Backed by nearly S$50 million in funding, the national-level centre will advance AI-driven engineering biology for the sustainable biomanufacturing of specialty chemicals.Minister for Education Desmond Lee attended the launch as Guest of Honour. Established in partnership with Nanyang Technological University, Singapore Institute of Technology, Temasek Polytechnic, Nanyang Polytechnic and A*STAR, NCEB is supported by the National Research Foundation under the Research, Innovation and Enterprise 2025 plan. The centre aims to enable predictive design of living systems for cleaner production of high-value chemicals from renewable feedstocks.
