Acer Edu Summit 2026 Advances AI Education Innovation

    The Acer Inc. has concluded its Acer Edu Summit Asia Pacific 2026, reinforcing its long-term strategy to reshape digital education transformation across the region as artificial intelligence (AI) continues to redefine how students learn and educators teach.

    Held in Jakarta on April 22-23, the summit returned for its second edition under the theme 'Future-Ready Learning: AI, Innovation, and Human-Centered Education'. It brought together participants from across the Asia Pacific, including Australia, India, Indonesia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, and several other countries, highlighting the growing importance of regional collaboration in building future-ready education systems.

    The event served as a high-level platform for educators, policymakers, and technology leaders to explore how AI in education can improve learning outcomes through personalization, digital literacy, and smarter classroom ecosystems. A key focus remained ensuring that human-centered education stays at the core of technological adoption, rather than being replaced by it.

    Andrew Hou, President of Pan Asia Pacific Operations at Acer, said, “True transformation in education happens when innovation is guided by human needs. Our goal is to empower educators and institutions to build inclusive learning environments where technology enhances, rather than replaces, the role of teachers”.

    The summit also showcased advanced research from institutions such as the MIT Media Lab’s City Science Group, introducing AI-driven learning frameworks designed to support personalized learning at scale. Sessions explored how AI can help educators shift from traditional rote methods toward more adaptive, insight-driven teaching models.

    Industry leaders also emphasized the importance of strong AI education infrastructure, with demonstrations of enterprise-grade computing systems and AI deployment platforms designed to support large-scale adoption in schools and universities. In parallel, Acer highlighted its latest Copilot+ PCs, built to enhance classroom flexibility and support collaborative learning environments.
