The Junior Asian Golf Academy (JAGA-UAE) has launched a new golf focused boarding school in Al Ain, in partnership with the Emirates Golf Federation (EGF). The academy aims to provide student-athletes with a balanced blend of academic education and elite golf training, positioning Al Ain as a new hub for golf and education excellence in the region.
Located at the Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club, the boarding school offers exclusive access to the JAGA International Training Center (JITC). Facilities include a driving range, short game areas, multiple putting greens, a Par 3 course, and an 18 hole floodlit Championship course, enabling all day training for aspiring young golfers.
JAGA’s curriculum is designed to support student athletes from school to sport, blending structured academics with tailored golf development through its unique ‘JAGA Way Belt Progression System’. This system introduces consistency and measurable benchmarks for each student’s performance journey.
John Laroche, CEO and Founder of JAGA, said, “Our partnership with EGF and the Al Ain club is a game changer. We’re offering a model that blends classroom learning with real world golf experience, helping young athletes build both their careers and their character”.

JAGA’s UAE campus builds on the success of its first academy in Hua Hin, Thailand. It will also serve as a key host for over 25 World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) events in collaboration with the Asia Pacific Golf Confederation (APGC). These tournaments will take place across Singapore, Vietnam, the UAE, Thailand, and India, giving students global exposure and competition readiness.
The academy is already welcoming interest from parents and students through on-site and online consultations, aiming to shape the next generation of well-rounded, competitive golfers.
