Burjeel Holdings has strengthened its role in medical education by earning NIHS accreditation for its Internal Medicine and General Surgery residency programs. The approval adds to its already recognized Orthopedics and Hematology-Oncology Fellowship programs. The group has also launched new post-graduate residency and fellowship programs across four major medical specialties.

The announcement came during the graduation ceremony of the sixth batch of the Medical Internship Program in Abu Dhabi. The event was attended by several key figures from the UAE’s health sector, including representatives from the National Institute for Health Specialties (NIHS) and the Department of Health.
