The Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (CKGSB) has officially inaugurated its first permanent campus in Beijing, marking a significant milestone in the institution’s 23-year journey of shaping global business leaders through advanced business education, executive leadership training, and research-driven academic excellence. The opening of the new campus represents not only a physical expansion but also a symbolic step forward in CKGSB’s mission to connect China’s economic evolution with the global business landscape.
Situated in Beijing’s historic Ciqikou area, often referred to as 'China’s Gateway', the campus occupies a unique location that reflects both tradition and modernity. On one side, it is framed by iconic cultural landmarks such as the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven, representing centuries of Chinese civilization and heritage. On the other side, it is surrounded by Beijing’s Central Business District, a powerful symbol of rapid economic growth, innovation, and global integration. This strategic positioning underscores CKGSB’s identity as a bridge between China’s rich historical legacy and its forward-looking ambitions in global management education and international business leadership.
Founded in 2002 following China’s entry into the World Trade Organization, CKGSB has played a pivotal role in advancing management education in China, focusing on cultivating leaders who can navigate complex global markets.
