Dubai Trade Launches New E-Learning Platform for Supply Chain Skills

    • Dubai Trade launches simulation-based e-learning platform for supply chain professionals
    • More than 180,000 companies expected to benefit from accredited online training
    • Platform designed to improve job-ready skills using advanced visual and instructional tools

Dubai Trade has introduced a new e-learning platform in partnership with the Supply Chain Academy to help professionals across the UAE strengthen their skills in logistics, procurement, and supply chain management. The launch marks an important step in the emirate’s push to enhance digital learning and workforce development within the region’s fast-growing trade ecosystem.

The platform uses simulation-based training that aims to replicate the look and feel of a classroom environment, allowing learners to gain practical, job-ready skills through real-world scenarios. Dubai Trade said the system was designed using Cognitive Load Theory, an instructional approach that helps simplify complex topics and improve retention through structured, visually rich content.

More than 180,000 companies registered on the Dubai Trade Portal are expected to gain access to the new learning system. The platform offers internationally recognised certifications, providing professionals with credentials that can support career advancement in logistics and related fields. Courses will be certified by the Supply Chain Academy, with training content accredited by the International Federation of Purchasing and Supply Management.
