The collaboration brings together Jeonbuk National University’s Culture Convergence Archiving Research Institute and its Department of Records and Archives Management with Duy Tan University’s Faculty of Language and Social Sciences, including its Korean studies program. Both sides aim to build education models that connect classroom learning with real-world skills and global career readiness.
Located in Da Nang, Duy Tan University has gained global recognition for applied education. It features in the top 500 of the QS World University Rankings and ranks in the 601-800 band of the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings as of 2026.

As part of the agreement, the universities will launch a global project-based learning capstone titled 'Local Storytelling' this summer. Students will work in international teams to explore regional history and culture and reframe them through creative, practical outputs. The program is designed to strengthen problem-solving, teamwork, and cross-cultural communication skills-key assets for today’s global job market.
The partnership also builds on Jeonbuk’s ongoing international initiatives, including previous project-based programs with Vietnamese institutions. University leaders said the tie-up moves beyond traditional exchanges and places students at the center of global, practice-oriented education.
