    • K-Quiz India 2026 will help students strengthen language skills while encouraging cultural learning and active participation
    • The initiative deepens Korea-India educational collaboration and creates future academic and career opportunities for students

The Korean Education Centre India is expanding Korean language education in India with the launch of its Pilot School Partnership Programme. The initiative will officially begin with a Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony with selected Indian schools on May 15, 2026, in New Delhi.

The program aims to introduce and strengthen Korean language learning in Indian schools through structured classes, cultural activities, academic exchange opportunities, and long-term collaboration. It is designed to help students build global language skills that can support higher education and future career opportunities.

The launch marks a major step in strengthening education ties between India and South Korea, while also preparing students for opportunities in language-based careers, international education, and cross-border professional engagement.

As part of this broader initiative, KEC India will also host K-Quiz India 2026, the first Korean Language and Culture Quiz Championship for Indian school students. The event will take place on May 26, 2026, at Jawaharlal Nehru University.

The competition will test students on Korean language, history, culture, food, K-pop, and Korea-India relations. It is expected to encourage deeper student participation while making language learning more engaging and practical.
