    • Collaboration promotes science education for young people in Busan
    • Programs focus on energy, carbon neutrality, and inclusion of vulnerable groups
    • KOSPO pledges 150 million won over five years to support initiatives

Korea Southern Power (KOSPO) has teamed up with the National Busan Science Museum to enhance science education and opportunities for youth in the region. The partnership aims to bridge gaps in access to science learning and foster a stronger local science culture.

Under the agreement, KOSPO and the museum will jointly run programs focusing on energy, carbon neutrality, and initiatives that engage vulnerable groups. These efforts are designed to build practical skills, spark interest in STEM careers, and encourage lifelong learning in science. Over the next five years, KOSPO will contribute 150 million won to fund these educational activities and ensure their sustainability.

Park Young Cheol, Executive Vice President for Corporate Planning at KOSPO, said the collaboration reflects the company’s commitment to social responsibility and community development. “We are dedicated to supporting programs that equip young people with knowledge and skills to succeed while contributing to local growth,” he added.
