KP Human Development Foundation, the philanthropic arm of KP Group, has launched the Urja Noor Scholarship programme in collaboration with PP Savani University, marking a major step toward nurturing talent in renewable energy education. This initiative is designed to empower underprivileged students who aspire to build careers in sustainable energy, offering comprehensive support that covers tuition, accommodation, meals, and transportation. More than just financial assistance, the programme provides students with access to state-of-the-art laboratories, structured classroom learning, and essential industry exposure, preparing them to thrive in the rapidly evolving clean energy sector.
The Urja Noor Scholarship focuses on students pursuing B.Tech and diploma programmes in renewable energy and related fields. Its holistic approach aims to cultivate both academic excellence and practical skills, helping students become job-ready and confident contributors to India’s sustainable energy future. So far, 92 students have benefited from the programme, with plans to support up to 120 scholars this year. Notably, 30 students from Botswana have joined the current cohort, reflecting the programme’s growing international reach and its role in building a global clean energy workforce.
