Kyungpook National University Boosts AI Startup Skills

    • Kyungpook National University partners with KOMSCO to develop startup talent
    • Focus on AI skills, public data use, and practical learning
    • Students to gain experience through a national startup competition

Kyungpook National University’s College of Education has partnered with Korea Minting, Security Printing & ID Card Operating Corporation (KOMSCO) to enhance student skills in artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, and public data use. The goal is to prepare students for future careers with hands-on, practical learning.

The two organizations signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at KOMSCO’s headquarters in Daejeon. Under this agreement, they will promote the use of public data and help students build innovative business ideas based on it.

A key part of the collaboration is a national startup competition for university and graduate students. The program will give students real-world exposure to public data and encourage them to develop startup concepts.

The partnership will also support education and research by providing access to public data, exploring new use cases, and strengthening skills in AI and ESG management. This approach aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry needs.
