The National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) has launched AI-Ready SG, a comprehensive initiative to help workers adapt to the growing role of artificial intelligence in the workplace. The platform is designed as a one-stop hub for skill development, business transformation, and job matching, supporting both workers and employers through the AI transition.
Under the program, NTUC will provide sector-specific AI training pathways tailored to workers’ roles and skill levels. Training is aligned with national frameworks to ensure relevance and effectiveness, helping employees gain practical expertise in AI applications across industries.
To make learning accessible, NTUC is rolling out a funding scheme under AI-Ready SG. Eligible members can receive subsidies covering up to 50 percent of training and AI tool costs, including software for productivity, content creation, and writing. The pilot program will run for two years, integrating training with the adoption of AI tools in daily work.
