    • Oracle Academy trains over 150 Indonesian students and educators in project management tools
    • Hands-on learning with Oracle Primavera P6 and Primavera Cloud supports real-world skills
    • Experts highlight strong industry demand for Primavera-skilled graduates

Oracle Academy recently hosted a webinar that brought together more than 150 students and educators from universities across Indonesia to strengthen project management education. The session, titled 'Mastering Your Project Management Skills with Oracle Primavera', showcased how Primavera P6 and Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC) help students build industry-ready skills using tools available for free through Oracle Academy.

The event began with an introduction from Nurul Huda, Manager, Oracle Academy Southeast Asia, who outlined the structure and benefits of the Primavera curriculum. Participants learned the differences between Primavera P6 and Oracle Primavera Cloud, and how both platforms offer comprehensive, ready-to-teach modules aligned with global industry standards.

Dr. Dinar Mutiara Kusumo Nugraheni of Diponegoro University shared her academic experience using Primavera tools to bridge theory and practice. She explained how features such as Gantt charts, network diagrams, and project dashboards help students develop core skills in scheduling, resource allocation, risk analysis, and project monitoring. This practical approach supports Outcome Based Education (OBE) goals by helping students build competencies directly relevant to the job market.

He said that graduates who master Primavera gain a competitive edge because employers prioritize standardized planning, governance, and risk-control expertise. He also demonstrated how OPC’s mobile capabilities allow teams to update project data offline and how new AI-driven features are improving planning accuracy and decision-making.

The webinar closed with guidance for students and educators on adopting OPC and using cloud-based tools for collaborative project work. Oracle Academy encouraged participants to continue exploring Primavera resources to advance their project management skills.
