In an era of evolving global trade, South Korean business leader Sanghyun Ahn has quietly been shaping a stronger economic and educational partnership between South Korea and Việt Nam. With over a decade of cross-border leadership experience, Ahn has focused on creating sustainable jobs, strategic investments, and educational collaborations that deliver lasting impact.
Since 2011, Ahn has held leadership roles across five major companies, driving initiatives that bridge Korean and Vietnamese markets. As Director of PLUS International Co Ltd, he managed the Overseas Business Team to surpass revenue targets while forging long-term partnerships with top Vietnamese universities, including FPT Polytechnic. These collaborations resulted in new academic exchange programs and foreign direct investments that generated hundreds of jobs in both countries.
Ahn’s influence also extended into the retail sector. At FPT Retail JSC one of Viet Nam’s largest retail firms he led negotiations with multinational companies from Japan, Germany, and Canada within the beauty industry. These efforts unlocked fresh market opportunities and expanded workforce growth in key regions experiencing rapid development.
His achievements have earned him notable recognitions, including the International Achievement Award from South Korea’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Award for Job Creation from the Korea Corporate Social Responsibility Foundation in 2019.
Beyond business growth, Ahn is dedicated to sustainable development. As CEO of K&J Holdings Co Ltd, he collaborated with Honeywell on green energy projects at a major Korean university. This initiative reduced operational costs and created skilled jobs in the emerging clean energy sector, reflecting his commitment to environmentally responsible business practices.
