The April 2 meeting brought together Sejong University President Eom Jong-hwa and Sheridan College President Cindy Gouveia, along with academic leaders from both institutions, to explore new pathways in global education partnerships focused on the future of storytelling, design, and digital production.
Known worldwide as one of the top-tier animation schools, Sheridan College in Ontario has built a strong reputation since 1967 for producing industry-ready talent that goes on to work at studios like Disney, Pixar, and DreamWorks Animation. Ranked No. 2 globally in animation programs by Animation Career Review in 2025, the institution’s visit highlighted its growing interest in expanding cross-border academic collaboration.

During their visit, the Sheridan delegation toured Sejong University’s advanced creative infrastructure, including Team Studio Sejong, a cutting-edge hub integrating AI media labs, virtual production, XR technologies, and ICVFX systems.
