Sejong University to Host Career and Startup Forum

    • Sejong University will host a career fair and startup forum for international students in Korea.
    • The event aims to connect students with career, academic, and entrepreneurial opportunities.
    • It supports Korea’s push to attract skilled foreign talent amid demographic challenges.

Sejong University in Seoul is organizing the 7th International Student Career Fair & Startup Forum (ISF) on March 25. The event, in partnership with Stuvisor and Careertus, will bring together hundreds of international students, universities, companies, and support organizations.

The forum aims to provide a platform for students to explore job opportunities, academic pathways, and entrepreneurship. It includes on-site recruitment interviews, academic consultations, and networking with startup investors, embassies, and service providers. Around 60 organizations will participate, including 20 recruiting companies, universities, and institutions.

This initiative comes as Korea faces a demographic crisis, with a declining population and labor shortages. The government’s 'Study Korea 300K' program, which seeks to attract 300,000 international students, plays a key role in addressing this issue.

Participants can join sessions in both Korean and English. The Korean track will focus on employment and startup support programs, while the English track will cover strategies for entering the global startup ecosystem.

This event not only helps international students find career paths but also strengthens Korea’s global education and employment ecosystem.
