In a bold move to bridge higher education and real-world experience, Sunway University is transforming its Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) into a dynamic hub where creativity, practical learning, and industry collaboration converge. The university’s renewed direction emphasizes not just academic excellence, but also meaningful engagement with professionals and organizations that shape today’s arts, media, and creative sectors.
This shift comes as FASS enters a new phase of industry partnerships, formalizing agreements with seven leading players, including Sony Malaysia, Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO), Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS (DFP), the Creative Economy Agency of the Republic of Indonesia, Sunway Square Mall, Sunway Lagoon, the Euroasia Association of Performing Arts, and Kuala Lumpur City Opera.
