Surrey University Launches Asia's First Digital Health Master's

    The University of Surrey has launched Asia’s first Master’s degree in Digital Health in partnership with the International Institute of Health Sciences, marking a major step in healthcare education and workforce development in the region.

    The new program is designed to prepare graduates and working professionals to lead digital transformation across healthcare systems. Delivered at IIHS in Sri Lanka, the course allows students to earn a UK-recognized qualification while studying close to home. The curriculum combines academic learning with practical applications to meet the growing demand for digital skills in healthcare.

    The Master’s program targets graduates with a bachelor’s degree as well as professionals looking to advance their careers. It is especially relevant for doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals aiming for leadership roles in technology-driven healthcare. Healthcare managers, public health professionals, and graduates from IT, data science, engineering, life sciences, and management backgrounds can also benefit from the program.
