Tiruchirappalli Institutions Sign MoU to Boost Engineering Innovation

    • Dassault Systemes and SRMIST Tiruchirappalli sign MoU to foster innovation, skill-building, and startup incubation using the 3DEXPERIENCE digital platform.
    • The partnership integrates industry-grade tools into education, empowering students and faculty with real-world design, engineering, and research capabilities.

    Dassault Systemes and SRM Institute of Science and Technology Tiruchirappalli, have partnered with a Memorandum of Understanding to create a collaborative ecosystem that supports engineering innovation, skill enhancement, startup incubation, and indigenous research. The alliance is designed to take advantage of Dassault Systemes' 3D experience platform and technological expertise to enable students, teachers, and early-stage entrepreneurs with digital skills and applications relevant to industry.

    The MoU is aimed at enabling the development of industry-ready, skilled talent by incorporating cutting-edge design and engineering applications into training and academic programs, endowing students with the right digital skills. Furthermore, it enables the incubation of student- and faculty-startups engaged in the development of new products and processes, thus adding to India's emerging engineering and manufacturing sector.

    One other goal is to encourage research and development programs aimed at the local design of technologies, systems and equipment to meet the long-term innovation and self-reliance ambitions of the country.

    SRMIST Tiruchirappalli, founded in 2011, is a part of the SRM Group of Institutions and is known for academic merit, cutting-edge research, and robust industry interface.
