Veranda Learning Signs MoU with Japan's CPAEP for Global Talent Push

  • Synopsis
Veranda Learning has signed an MoU with Japan’s CPA Excellent Partners to build global career pathways for accounting and finance students. The partnership focuses on skill development, cross-border jobs, and Indo-Japan talent mobility.

Veranda Learning Solutions has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Japan-based CPA Excellent Partners to jointly develop global talent in accounting and finance. The partnership aims to improve skill development, international recruitment, and career support for commerce students.

The collaboration is designed to strengthen Indo-Japan cooperation in education and workforce mobility. It will help create structured global career pathways for students enrolled under Veranda Learning’s commerce education programs, especially those pursuing accounting and finance qualifications.

Under the agreement, both organizations will work on aligning curriculum with global industry standards. They will also focus on employer-led skill training, digital recruitment systems, and cross-border placement opportunities. The partnership includes career support services such as mentoring, interview preparation, and counseling for students aiming for international jobs.

The initiative is expected to open access for learners to job markets beyond India. These include opportunities in Japan as well as other regions such as Southeast Asia, North America, Australia, and the Middle East.

Industry experts see the collaboration as part of a broader trend of increasing demand for globally mobile finance professionals. Countries like Japan are facing talent shortages in accounting and finance, while India continues to produce a large pool of commerce graduates seeking global exposure.

The partnership is also aligned with growing bilateral efforts between India and Japan to strengthen skills development and talent exchange programs. Both countries are working to improve workforce mobility and create structured pathways for skilled professionals across sectors.

Kensuke Kunimi, CEO of CPA Excellent Partners, highlighted the goal of expanding access to quality training and global opportunities. He said, “We are pleased to partner with J.K. Shah Classes (JKSC), a Veranda enterprise, and its distinguished commerce institutions to extend high-quality accounting and finance training and career support to a wider international talent base. Our mission is to Support people in expanding their potential and enriching their lives. This collaboration will help create strong global career opportunities for aspiring accounting professionals”.

Prof. J.K. Shah, Founder of JK Shah Classes, said the partnership marks an important step for students seeking international careers. He noted that combining Veranda’s academic ecosystem with CPAEP’s global expertise will help improve career outcomes and expand opportunities for commerce learners.

Mr. Suresh Kalpathi, Executive Director and Chairman of Veranda Learning Solutions, said the commerce vertical has consistently delivered strong academic and career results. He added that the collaboration supports the company’s vision of building global learning systems that connect education with international job markets.

He emphasized that the goal is to help students become globally employable through industry-aligned training and cross-border exposure.

Veranda Learning Solutions operates across K-12 education, test preparation, vocational training, and professional certification programs. With this partnership, the company is expanding its focus further into international career development for finance and accounting students.

The MoU reflects a growing shift in the education sector, where institutions are moving beyond classroom training to global placement-driven learning models. By combining academic training with international recruitment support, the partnership aims to prepare students for competitive global finance roles.

As demand for skilled accounting professionals rises worldwide, the collaboration is expected to strengthen talent pipelines and improve employability for commerce students in India and beyond.
