Damascus, SANA-Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research: The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces the opening of COMSATS University scholarships in Islamabad, Pakistan, for postgraduate study (Master's and PhD) for the 2025-2026 academic year.
The ministry said in its statement, received by SANA, that these scholarships are in the fields of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Material Physics, Earth Sciences, Mathematics, International Relations, Remote Sensing, Geographic Information Systems, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Project Management, Biotechnology, Development Studies, Software Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Chemical Engineering.
The ministry explained that such scholarships are exempted from one-time registration fee, admission fee, lab fee, bank fee, semester registration fee, and tuition fee. The accepted students, however, will have to bear the cost of travel visa, accommodation, and food.
Online registration for these scholarships is available until June 30, through the link, COMSATS University Scholarships.
Furthermore, the ministry announced scholarships offered by Center of Excellence in Indonesia, which is a member of the Commission on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in the South (COMSATS), through Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS). The scholarships are offered for postgraduate doctoral study in Fall 2025 and are only for students who are members of the member states.
These scholarships sponsor different fields of science, technology, engineering, and allied disciplines and are fully funded. Electronic registration for Indonesian scholarships can be accessed through ITS Scholarship Portal. Following registration, candidates should submit a notification to the COMSATS Secretariat through email.
