In a major breakthrough for the education sector in Dubai, the Dubai Knowledge Fund Establishment (KFE) has tied up with Dubai Basketball, making an investment of AED 1.95 million for the 'Dubai Schools' project. The partnership will help increase access to quality education and drive the goals described in Education 33 strategy and Dubai Social Agenda 33.
The memorandum of understanding (MoU) was formalized in a ceremony attended by Abdulla Mohammed Al Awar, CEO of KFE, and Guido Fienga, President of Dubai Basketball. Al Awar emphasized that this partnership represents a practical step toward building a comprehensive educational environment, aligning with Dubai's vision for an inclusive and sustainable education system.
Fienga emphasized that this project represents the club's maiden venture into promoting school education, pointing out the significance of investing in coming generations to build a strong society. The 'Dubai Schools' initiative is a flagship development by KFE, aimed at offering a contemporary curriculum that combines modern teaching approaches with Emirati values.
The initiative is focused on developing schools that are adopted by the Government of Dubai and managed by eminent private education providers, with an objective to ensure high-quality education at a reasonable price. This model is that of public-private partnership, which is intended to address the varying educational needs of the emirate's residents.

As part of the expansion drive, the Nad Al Sheba campus will see major development, with completion targeted for 2026.
