Telangana Congress MLC and Siasat News Editor Amer Ali Khan made a big stride towards the economic empowerment of Muslim youth by initiating an overseas recruitment programme in association with Telangana Overseas Manpower Company Ltd. (TOMCOM). The event, which was organised at the Siasat Auditorium in Hyderabad on Monday, saw an overwhelming number of job seekers applying for overseas jobs in countries such as Japan, Qatar, the UAE, and Fiji.
Addressing the gathering, Amer Ali Khan underscored the historical significance of The Siasat Daily in empowering the people through education and jobs. "Since the inception, Siasat has been working for the betterment of the society. We were initially working on education. Now, we are directing efforts to ensure economic empowerment", he declared.
Looking back to the 1980s, Amer Ali Khan remembered how Siasat became a saving grace for thousands of Muslims seeking work by bringing job advertisements from top English national dailies at zero cost. "When the Gulf boom threw open employment opportunities, Hyderabad Muslims were at their educational and economic nadir. Siasat undertook to provide a helping hand, and thousands found employment abroad through those classified columns", he observed.
The latest tie-up between Siasat Hub Foundation (S-Hub) and TOMCOM is ushering in a new era of organized overseas recruitment. Amer Ali Khan described how the Telangana Government, through TOMCOM, is actively scouting overseas job openings and making arrangements for recruitment. "This is not merely about sending individuals overseas it's about creating a blueprint for economic stability", he stated.
He further stated that S-Hub and TOMCOM have entered into an MoU to organize more such programs and counsel youngsters in sourcing credible job opportunities overseas. Sunday's screening event witnessed participation from professionals from various fields IT, Computer Science, Civil and Mechanical Engineering, and other technical fields.

He reiterated that getting someone employed is an ongoing source of gratification in Islam, citing a Hadith and the words of Hazrat Ali (RA): 'When a prayer is not accepted, I am happier because it carries divine wisdom'.
The camp was conducted in a full auditorium with TOMCOM District Employment Officer Ms. Shabna and officer-in-charge Ritesh Kumar Mishra providing direct assistance. Siasat Hub Director Zahed Farooqui and officials from TOMCOM assisted candidates in recruitment procedures.
Cute job-hunters exchanged greetings with Amer Ali Khan, who had most of them smiling and taking photos with him while also showing faith in his ideas. "As The Siasat Daily stood as a source of strength to our community, Amer sahab's efforts will assist in redefining the economic fortunes of our youth", one of the aspirants uttered.
Amer Ali Khan also committed to expanding S-Hub's collaborations with other government departments so that deserving youth and unemployed young people can access national and international job opportunities.
