- The initiative aims to build Vietnam’s first international-standard training centres for aviation and hospitality.
- Backed by global expertise, the academies will develop skilled talent for the country’s fast-growing tourism sector.
Sun Group has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with two global education giants, Canadian Aviation Electronics Ltd. (CAE) and EHL Hospitality Business School (EHL) from Switzerland to establish two world class training institutions in Vietnam. The Sun Aviation Academy (SAA) and the Sun Tourism Academy (STA).
The initiative marks Sun Group’s major entry into the education and training sector, focusing on building skilled human resources for Vietnam’s growing aviation and hospitality industries.
Canadian Aviation Electronics with over 75 years of experience in aviation training, will support the development of the Sun Aviation Academy in partnership with the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam. The academy will offer internationally approved training for pilots, flight attendants, and ground staff. It aims to not only support Sun Phu Quoc Airways, Sun Group’s airline venture, but also become a regional leader in aviation education.
On the hospitality front, EHL, regarded as the ‘Harvard of Hospitality’, will work with Sun Group to build the Sun Tourism Academy. The school will train future leaders and professionals in hotel and service management, based on global standards.
