B. Braun (Thailand) Ltd., one of the world's leading medical technology companies based in Germany, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Thai-German Multidisciplinary Endoscopic Training Center under the Royal Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (TG-MET). The partnership is to develop laparoscopic surgical expertise among medical practitioners through practice-based training courses in gynecologic laparoscopic surgery for resident doctors, and also use it as a center for global knowledge sharing.
The signing ceremony was hosted by Associate Professor Korakot Sirimai, MD., Director of TG-MET, and Mr. Sayan Roy, Managing Director of B. Braun (Thailand) Ltd. The collaboration will play an important role in developing the skills of medical staff in gynecology, as well as nurturing advanced surgical skills and instruments, ultimately resulting in better patient care and treatment outcomes.
This collaboration also attests to B. Braun's firm belief in 'Sharing Expertise' as a force behind driving healthcare innovation through ongoing sponsorship of medical education and training programs. This is undertaken through the Aesculap Academy, B. Braun's exclusive medical training facility, which aims at the integral development of healthcare professionals globally.
