Marengo Asia Hospitals hosted the Marengo Asia Nursing Excellence Conclave 2025 at its Faridabad unit on marking a landmark step in the advancement of nursing in India. The conclave brought together more than 400 nurses, senior clinical and academic leaders, and delegates from partnering institutions, underscoring the scale and significance of the event. It served as a platform to officially announce the launch of the Nursing Excellence Programme (NEP), developed in collaboration with the National Health Service (NHS), United Kingdom. The initiative reflects Marengo Asia Hospitals’ commitment to driving professional growth, global exposure, and high-quality care across its nursing workforce.
The NEP is designed to elevate the standards of nursing education, leadership, and clinical proficiency through globally benchmarked training models. It aims to create an ecosystem of continuous learning and professional empowerment, equipping nurses with the competencies required to meet rapidly transforming healthcare demands. Rooted in international best practices, the programme will help nurses develop not only advanced clinical skills but also empathy-driven leadership capabilities that align with the future of patient-centric care.
Speaking at the event, Dr Raajiv Singhal, Founding Member, Managing Director and Group CEO of Marengo Asia Hospitals, emphasized the strategic importance of the initiative. He described the launch of the Nursing Excellence Programme as a defining moment for Indian nursing, noting that the partnership with NHS UK bridges global knowledge with domestic talent. According to Dr Singhal, nursing is not simply a supporting arm of healthcare, but the force that determines the quality, safety, and dignity with which care is delivered.
As healthcare systems evolve rapidly, he highlighted the urgent need for highly skilled, adaptive, and confident nursing professionals who are equipped to lead change rather than merely respond to it. He added that platforms such as the Nursing Excellence Conclave and associated academic programmes reflect the network’s long-term vision of investing in the intellectual capital of nurses and strengthening their ability to drive clinical innovation, patient trust, and hospital-wide excellence.

He noted that the NEP seeks to empower nurses across all Marengo Asia hospitals by encouraging consistent skill enhancement, building strong knowledge systems, and creating an environment that values clinical autonomy and lifelong learning.
By integrating structured training, exposure to international best practices, and leadership-development pathways, the programme aims to shape the next generation of Indian nurses who are not only clinically adept but also capable of contributing meaningfully to strategic healthcare outcomes.
With the launch of this programme, Marengo Asia Hospitals signals a future-focused approach to healthcare where nursing professionals are positioned at the core of clinical excellence, and where investment in human capital is treated as the foundation for delivering safer, superior, and compassionate patient care.
