A total of 111 new students enrolling in UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta via State Islamic Religious Higher Education Entrance Examination (UM-PTKIN) pathway for the 2025/2026 Academic Year are finalized to obtain the Smart Indonesia Card for Higher Education (KIP-K) scholarship. The recipients will be announced.
This was said by UIN Jakarta Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Ali Munhanif, M.A., Ph.D., at the Rectorate Building. "Insha Allah (God willing), 111 new students on the UM-PTKIN track will be awarded the KIP-K scholarship", he said.
Deputy Rector Ali clarified that the quota for the recipients of KIP-K precisely for the UM-PTKIN pathway in the 2025/2026 Academic Year is established at 111 students. On the other hand, the number of students applying for KIP-K stood at 451 as of the registration deadline.
A total of 451 KIP Kuliah UM-PTKIN applicants were potential students. All have to be checked and authenticated by their respective faculties before they can be appointed as KIP-K recipients", he explained.
Verification and validation of the data is done at the faculty level, being the prospective field of study for KIP Kuliah recipients. Only after that process is done will the announcement of KIP-K recipients and their Single Tuition Fee (UKT) amount be announced.
To provide context, the Smart Indonesia Card for Higher Education (KIP-K) Program is a Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia education expense subsidization program, mediated by the Directorate of Islamic Religious Higher Education (Diktis) of the Directorate General of Islamic Education. The program focuses on high-achieving students who belong to economically challenged families.
