2025 'Study In Beijing' Expo To Visit Vietnam, Indonesia

    • A major education outreach fair organized by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission will visit Vietnam (Oct 24) and Indonesia (Oct 26) this month.
    • Over ten leading institutions including Tsinghua, Peking, and Beijing Normal University will offer guidance on admissions, scholarships, and study options.
    • The event focuses on country-specific admission insights, bilingual education, and career-oriented programs, connecting students directly with China’s premier universities.

A huge new global outreach campaign is on the go: the 2025 'Study Beijing' Education Exhibition, organized by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission and Beijing International Education Exchange Center, will visit Vietnam and Indonesia later this month, providing Southeast Asian students with direct access to some of China's best universities.

For Vietnamese students, the event will take place on October 24 at Dai Nam University in Hanoi (Second Teaching Building, No. 1 Xom Street, Phu Luong Ward) with a timeline from 09:30 to 16:00. The Jakarta leg comes next on October 26 at the Banquet Hall of the Shangri La Hotel Jakarta, also from 09:30 to 16:00.

Over ten prominent Beijing institutions will be represented, across business, science & engineering, languages, agriculture and more disciplines. Some of the universities present include Tsinghua University, Peking University, Beijing Normal University, China Agricultural University, Communication University of China, Beijing Jiaotong University, University of Science and Technology Beijing, and Beijing Foreign Studies University to name a few.

The show is positioned as something more than a 'meet-and-greet' fair. Consultations on campus with admissions officials will discuss admission requirements, application procedures and new 'Study Beijing' special scholarships. The event also focuses on study choice to career path alignment especially in fields of high demand such as IT, business and technology. Visitors will be updated on bilingual teaching systems, cultural support services and what student life in universities in Beijing is like.

Organisers emphasize that the event is customized to the study goals of Southeast students and designed to fill information gaps. In Vietnam, for instance, the emphasis will be on an in‐depth analysis of the application process and Vietnamese‐specific admission policies of Vietnamese learners. In Indonesia, the focus goes further to include scholarships and career advising services, mirroring the region's increasing interest in China as a study‐destination.

From Jakarta to Hanoi, the exhibition is being presented as a stepping stone to global academic progress, enabling students to map their path to studying overseas with certainty and assistance. With direct links to top universities, scholarship programs and program information, the 'Study Beijing' fair aims to provide an interactive, hands-on first step for students thinking of pursuing higher education in China.
