Aboitiz Foods, through its agribusiness arm Pilmico, has joined forces with the Department of Agriculture (DA) Regional Field Office 3 to develop the Gen XP TV Series, a digital educational program designed to connect traditional farming with modern innovation.
The initiative focuses on youth-led agri-learning, aiming to make agriculture engaging, innovative, and easier to understand. It covers technical and sustainability topics, helping young people and the wider community see farming as a viable and rewarding career.
Norie Bermudez, Aboitiz Foods First Vice President and Country Director for Agribusiness Philippines, said the partnership is a step toward inspiring the next generation of farmers. “This collaboration marks an important milestone in promoting better agricultural practices and ensuring food security”, she noted.
The program is not only intended for students and aspiring farmers but also for local farmers, livestock raisers, and agripreneurs. Gen XP TV Series will provide practical guidance that can enhance productivity and increase profitability in their farming and livestock operations.
