    Baku State University or BSU is the largest and one of the most prestigious universities in Azerbaijan, and it has welcomed a delegation from Malaysian universities as a step toward boosting academic ties between the two nations. He briefed the visitors about the university’s operations, indicating its educational and research environment, international standing in global rankings, and ongoing initiatives related to internationalization.

    Rector Babayev noted that BSU has wide possibilities for collaboration with Malaysian universities, especially in postgraduate levels, master's, and doctoral programs. He underlined the possible directions of cooperation, emphasizing that academic exchanges, joint degree programs, collaborative research projects, and international conferences can serve as a good basis for mutually beneficial cooperation. Babayev noted that such collaborations could enhance research output, promote cross-cultural academic engagement, and contribute to the professional and scholarly development of students and faculty from both countries.

    The delegation showed a keen interest in establishing partnerships with BSU across various disciplines, noting the university's robust academic infrastructure and growing international role.
