As part of its continued efforts towards making a positive difference in the societies in which it operates, GFH Financial Group (GFH) signed today a partnership agreement with Dubai Cares, one of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), to help the organization pursue its mission to give children and youth access to quality education.
The signing ceremony was held in Dubai Cares offices in Dubai, with Mr. Abdulla Ahmed AlShehhi, Chief Operating Officer at Dubai Cares, Mrs. Sahar Qanati, Head of Corporate Communications at GFH, Mrs. Nawal AlNaji, Senior Manager of the Corporate Communications at GFH and Ms. Zainab Faraidooni, Deputy Director Partnerships at Dubai Cares attending.
As part of the partnership, the Group announced its sponsorship of the 'Pack for Impact' initiative, held under the “Volunteer Emirates” program by Dubai Cares. The event is to be held tomorrow, Friday, July 11, at the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai and is anticipated to host in excess of 100 delegates comprising employees of GFH as well as strategic partners of GFH like GFH Partners, the Sheffield Private School, Belvedere British School and The Entertainer.
The event will involve GFH employees and volunteers from around the UAE putting together 2,000 school kits filled with stationery, notebooks, and other fundamental items to assist children from low-income households around the UAE and make them school-ready for the new academic year.
GFH's patronage committee reflects its strong commitment to social responsibility and sustainable development. The Group proactively establishes strategic alliances with the region's top NGOs, including Dubai Cares, to expand its CSR efforts in the GCC and beyond.
