    • The program’s website launches in mid-April, with applications opening in May, aiming to enhance student experience and strengthen Hong Kong as a global talent hub.

ManpowerGroup Greater China, Beacon Group, FGA Trust, and Payment Asia have joined forces to launch the Talent in HK Youth and Family Life Service Security Program, a new initiative designed to support international students in Hong Kong. Announced on 25 March, the program aims to provide a comprehensive support system addressing both educational and life service needs, creating a safer and more secure environment for students navigating life and studies abroad.

The program is structured to build a transparent and collaborative ecosystem, offering end-to-end support from education consultancy to career guidance. As Hong Kong continues to attract top-tier students globally, it also faces challenges such as cultural adaptation, financial security, and scams targeting non-local students. This initiative seeks to mitigate those risks while helping students thrive academically and professionally.

Under the program, Beacon Group will offer long-term study plans and customised education admissions services, while ManpowerGroup will focus on internships and career development, helping graduates transition smoothly into the local workforce. Payment Asia will ensure secure financial transactions, and FGA Trust will oversee financial management through dedicated project accounts, providing additional reassurance for students and their families.

The program’s website is set to launch in mid-April, with applications opening in May. Non-local students already contribute significantly to Hong Kong’s economy, generating over $1.28 billion (HK$10 billion) annually in tuition fees, and this initiative is expected to enhance their educational experience while strengthening Hong Kong’s position as a hub for global talent.

Lancy Chui of ManpowerGroup emphasised the importance of career planning for non-local graduates, stating, “We can reduce uncertainty during their transition into the local workforce”, June Leung of Beacon Group highlighted the program’s role in integrating academic support with life security, while Helen Chen of FGA Trust noted its potential to transform international talent into a long-term driver for Hong Kong’s development.

By combining education support, career guidance, and financial security, the Talent in HK Youth and Family Life Service Security Program offers a holistic solution for international students, ensuring they can focus on their studies, growth, and future contributions to Hong Kong’s vibrant economy.
