KNI and Ardingly College International Limited - ACIL have signed a milestone cooperation agreement towards the establishment of a British-standard boarding school in Vietnam to bring into Vietnamese students the prestigious brand, education quality, and heritage of Ardingly College, one of the top 10 independent boarding schools in the United Kingdom. The signing has marked a significant development in the international education landscape of Vietnam, combining the experience of KNI in high-quality schooling with renowned academic excellence and holistic educational philosophy of Ardingly College.
KNI is a multi-sector investment group with a strong focus on premium education and elderly care, led by the founders and co-owners of Ho Chi Minh City's Canadian International School system and the Canadian International School in Lao Cai. Under the new agreement, the Canadian International School Lao Cai - CIS LC - will be officially transformed into Ardingly College Vietnam from 2026. The school will offer a full boarding program for boys and girls aged 11 to 18, as well as day-school opportunities for local students, thereby widening access to world-class international learning opportunities.
Once converted, Ardingly College Vietnam will continue to operate two well-defined academic pathways: one bilingual, following the curriculum provided by Vietnam's Ministry of Education and Training, which will offer Vietnamese students from Grade 1 to Grade 12 a complete education up to the Vietnamese High School Diploma; the other, international, offering the British IGCSE and advanced AS/A-Level qualifications to students from Grade 9 to Grade 12.

This latter track will be made available both to international learners and Vietnamese students seeking an internationally recognized academic route. From the school year 2026-2027 onwards, both pathways will be delivered using Ardingly College’s pedagogical methods, learning philosophy and educational ethos to align with the standards upheld at its UK campus.
Becoming Ardingly College Vietnam secures CIS LC a place within Ardingly College's expanding global network. The school will join Ardingly College Zhongshan in Guangzhou, China, and Ardingly Astana in Kazakhstan, forming part of an international family that represents the school's commitment to global education, multi-cultural learning, and academic excellence.
Through this collaboration, students in Vietnam will gain access not only to high-quality teaching and boarding facilities but also to the broader culture, values, and opportunities associated with one of the United Kingdom's most respected independent schools.
