Makkah Launches Hour of AI Program to Boost Digital Skills

    The General Directorate of Education in Makkah has launched the 'Hour of Artificial Intelligence in Education' program to strengthen AI skills and digital literacy among students and educators.

    Part of the global 'Hour of AI' initiative, the program uses generative AI tools through the Madrasati platform, following the National eLearning Center’s framework for AI competencies in teaching and learning. It aims to give educators and students practical expertise in AI, improve learning outcomes, and encourage creativity in academic settings.

    The program is open to students of all grade levels and education professionals across local institutions. It runs until May 14, with final registrations closing on February 16. Participants will earn credentials reflecting their proficiency in AI-based instruction, preparing them for the growing role of technology in education.

    Through this initiative, Makkah emphasizes modern teaching methods and digital skills development.
