The Global Entrepreneurship Week Korea event brings together entrepreneurship-related activities of the year to share results and seeks ways to advance Korea's entrepreneurship. This year's event is held under the theme '80th anniversary of liberation, leaping forward again with Korea-style AI and entrepreneurship'.
It explores the entrepreneurship that led the national reconstruction after liberation and draws policy implications from history. About 700 people are expected to participate online and offline in a discussion on ways to spread entrepreneurship in the era of AI transformation.
Through the declaration at the opening ceremony that day, commendations were given to meritorious individuals, including young corporate leaders who helped spread entrepreneurship during the last year. Thereafter, Chair Han Jeong-hwa gave a keynote speech under the theme '80 years since liberation, 80 years of entrepreneurship'.
On the day, a total of 26 people received awards in the category of young corporate leaders for venture startup promotion, which includes CEO Ko Hee-un of HeyBranders; 10 in the category of merit in the dissemination and promotion of entrepreneurship; 7 for excellent cases in entrepreneurship education; and 19 in the category of contest for entrepreneurship content. Overall, 62 people were commended on that day.

Collaboration opportunities with venture investors and accelerators were also sought by university students and early-stage startup corporation teams through IR sessions as the next generation to lead the entrepreneurship ecosystem.
On the 20th, a talk concert will be held in which anyone interested in starting a business can participate, featuring a field tour of Start - Up sites and a Q&A with young founders. On the 21st, AI-related films will be selected and shown on 'Entrepreneurship Movie Day'; this event will be operated as a public outreach program in sharing the insights of visitors on the expansion possibility of the AI-based cultural industry.
On the 22nd, outstanding entrepreneurship education cases from elementary, middle, and high schools nationwide, which have obtained awards from the competition for outstanding entrepreneurship education cases, will be shared, along with the background to the introduction of the 'Youth Entrepreneurship' textbook and application guidelines for using the textbook.
