- University of Northampton signs MoC with Raffles College of Higher Education (Singapore)
- 10 UK degree programs to launch in Singapore by October 2025
- Move strengthens UON’s reach in the fast-growing Southeast Asian education market
The University of Northampton (UON) is deepening its presence in Southeast Asia through a new collaboration with Singapore’s Raffles College of Higher Education (Raffles CHE). The two institutions have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) to deliver 10 undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Singapore starting in October 2025.
The agreement will see UON degrees offered in fields like fashion, game design, marketing, and international business, disciplines where both institutions have built strong reputations. Raffles CHE has been a recognised name across the region, and this partnership gives UON a strategic advantage in one of the world’s most competitive education markets.
Professor Anne-Marie Kilday, Vice Chancellor and CEO of UON, said this deeper partnership builds on years of collaboration and opens up valuable career opportunities for students. “This agreement not only enhances UON’s global footprint but also helps students access fast-growing international job markets”, she noted.

Kai Ong, Senior Vice President at Raffles Education Corporation, shared that the relationship began with academic exchanges and has grown into a full-fledged collaboration. “We're proud to deliver UON programmes and look forward to a successful future, by design”, he said.
Singapore has emerged as a regional education hub, drawing over 50,000 international students, with more than half enrolled in UK programmes. It is now the UK’s fourth-largest market for transnational education.
