The online registration process for the State Bank of India’s (SBI) Junior Associates (Customer Support and Sales) recruitment, also known as SBI Clerk 2025, will close today, August 26. Candidates who are interested can apply through the official website – sbi.co.in.
This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 6,589 vacancies, which include both regular and backlog posts.
To apply, candidates must be between 20 and 28 years of age as on April 1, 2025. This means applicants should have been born between April 2, 1997, and April 1, 2005 (both dates inclusive). Relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided to candidates from reserved categories as per government rules.
Applicants should hold a graduation degree in any discipline. Those pursuing an integrated dual degree can also apply if they complete their course on or before December 31, 2025. Final-year students are also eligible to apply provisionally, provided they can submit proof of passing their degree by the same date.
Selection Process
- The selection process includes a Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, and Local Language Proficiency Test.
- The Prelims exam will have 100 marks with objective-type questions, to be completed in one hour.
- The Mains exam will have 190 questions for 200 marks, with a duration of 2 hours and 40 minutes.
- Candidates who have not studied the local language of their applied state in Class 10 or 12 will have to take the Local Language Test after the Mains.

Application Fee
- The application fee is Rs 750 for General, EWS, and OBC candidates, while SC, ST, PwBD, XS, and DXS candidates are exempted from the fee.
