    • The program will train students in AI, automation, and workplace ready digital skills.
    • The alliance aligns with Singapore’s National AI Strategy 2.0 to strengthen the talent pipeline.

Workato, a global agentic orchestration firm, has launched the AI Institute Alliance in Singapore to accelerate AI talent development and innovation. Partnering with leading institutions such as NUS, SUSS, and five polytechnics, the initiative aims to prepare students with advanced AI and automation skills to meet the demands of a fast changing economy.

The alliance will provide students and educators with hands on training, enterprise level automation tools, and direct exposure to industry practices. It will also bridge the growing AI skills gap by connecting learners with real world projects, internships, and mentorship opportunities from industry experts.

Simon Chesterman, Senior Director of AI Governance at AI Singapore, said universities must work closely with industry to ensure graduates are prepared for jobs in an AI-driven world. “Education can no longer stop at graduation, lifelong learning is essential”, he noted.

Workato has already trained over 3,000 tertiary students in automation and integration skills. The new alliance expands on this effort by creating structured pathways for students to enter the workforce with future ready skills. Industry partners, including PSA Singapore, have already hired Workato certified students to improve IT automation and business processes.
