TaskUs Inc., a leading provider of outsourced digital services, is expanding its operations in the Philippines with the opening of its 11th site, named TaskUs Hiraya, in Las Piñas City. The company aims to grow its workforce at this location to 1,500 employees by the end of 2025.

Currently, Hiraya houses 700 teammates and is set to support global customers through various services, including customer service, sales, technical support, non-voice operations, and content moderation.

“People-First ethos was a key factor in choosing Las Piñas City for our new site”, said Dean Van Ormer, TaskUs Senior Vice President for Southeast Asia. He added that 80 percent of their Alabang-area teammates live in or near the city, and the location offers easy access to major roads, Metro Manila, and the upcoming LRT-1 extension, which will reduce commute times.

Ormer also highlighted the proximity to 14 colleges and universities, ensuring a steady supply of highly educated talent for the company’s growing operations.

The site’s name, Hiraya, comes from a Filipino word meaning 'the fulfillment of hopes and dreams'. Al Sese, TaskUs Vice President of Operations, said, “True to its name, Hiraya is a workspace where teammates are excited to come daily and build their careers”.

Hiraya is the first TaskUs site with a Filipino theme, blending traditional design elements with modern facilities. These include a daycare center, rooms for new mothers, 24/7 clinics, wellness and resiliency coaching areas, a gym, and a cafeteria.

Since opening its first single-room office in Cavite in 2008, TaskUs has marked its 17th anniversary, with the Philippines remaining its largest operations base. The company now employs over 35,000 teammates across 11 Philippine sites. Globally, TaskUs has a workforce of approximately 60,400 across 30 locations in 13 countries, including the United States, the Philippines, and India.

With the launch of Hiraya and planned hiring, TaskUs continues to strengthen its presence in the Philippines, providing new employment opportunities and supporting its growing global customer base.
