Al Ain to generate more than 3,000 new Emiratisation jobs following the signature of 17 memorandums of understanding during the Empowering National Talents forum, which was held in ADNEC Centre, Al Ain. Sheikh Hazza bin Zeyed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative to Al Ain, noted that Emiratisation has been among the directives issued by President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
These collaborations with major players like ADNOC, Mubadala, G42, e&, Abu Dhabi Aviation, and the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology are not only to employ but to train Emirati manpower in various areas like finance, education, emerging technologies, aviation, customer care, and even 3D printing. It comes as part of a grand strategy to bring together all Emiratisation initiatives under a single roof, and local capacity enhanced to become competitive in the labour market.

Ibrahim Nassir, the Undersecretary of the Department of Government Enablement, elaborated that the scheme entailed a structured platform to facilitate skill building assistance to jobseekers, job matching, and frequent retraining. While addressing the forum, the delegates further deliberated on vibrant labour market trends, seeking to converge workforce development projects and sectoral expansion, and to empower Emiratis with the skills needed to meet new industry requirements.
The ultimate aim behind this initiative is to build strong national human capital, basing sustainable development on investing in the potential of Emiratis. With joint initiatives between the government authorities and public sector leaders, Al Ain's job push aims to provide not only vacancies, but long-term career opportunities for UAE nationals.
