- Universal Synaptics partners with GGAS to train Saudi technicians in advanced fault detection
- Accredited program focuses on Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and electrical system diagnostics
- Initiative supports Saudi Vision 2030 by developing local talent and industry-ready skills
Universal Synaptics Corporation (USC) has partnered with GGAS Aviation Services to launch an advanced educational program in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, focusing on detecting and isolating intermittent electrical faults. The program aims to train the next generation of aviation and technical professionals, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals of building local expertise and industry-ready skills.
The strategic collaboration will provide accredited training in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), electrical system degradation, and intermittent fault diagnostics using USC’s proprietary tools, including the Intermittent Fault Detection & Isolation System 2.0 (IFDIS 2.0) and the Portable Intermittent Fault Detector (PIFD). Initially, the program will target Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMTs) and aviation sustainment professionals, with plans to expand into broader electrical and electronics sectors.
The curriculum emphasizes practical, scenario-based learning and leadership development, combining world-class technical knowledge with locally relevant insights. The partnership supports Saudi Arabia’s Saudization policy by fostering local talent in high-demand sectors while providing exposure to advanced diagnostic technologies not widely available in the region.
