Coller Capital, a focused private market secondaries manager, today unveiled the Secondaries Institute, a new online learning platform built to serve its expanding Private Wealth Secondaries Solutions (PWSS) business.
The platform gives wealth advisers and high-net-worth investors access to structured content designed to enhance understanding of secondaries and facilitate long-term portfolio construction, based on a firm statement.
“Many advisers are realizing that secondaries are a strategic tool for today’s high-net-worth investor”, said Jake Elmhirst, partner and head of PWSS at Coller Capital. “With this platform, we’re arming advisors with what they need to engage their clients with confidence”.
The Secondaries Institute offers free access to constantly updated content, such as educational videos, market primers throughout private equity and private credit, commentary, a glossary of private markets terms and concepts and continuing education courses.
In 2024, secondaries traded around $160bn in volume of transactions a 40 percent increase on the previous year, says Coller Capital. The firm believes the addressable market for secondaries is approximately $10trn and increasingly so.
