CuePilot AI, a voice-first, AI-native platform designed for preschools and daycares, recently bagged a pre-seed investment of $1.8 million. The investment round was marked by participation from Eximius Ventures, as well as Titan Capital, and also saw Ronnie Screwvala of Unilazer Ventures and upGrad at its head.
The organization is going to enhance the voice and AI orchestration platform, develop country integrations for high-priority regions, and broaden go-to-market for India and Middle East and Southeast Asia. Subsequent to this are operations in the United States with higher ARPU and substantial payment volumes.
CuePilot is a complete preschool management solution that automates 80 percent of administrative tasks. It is an AI that is voice-driven and can immediately take teacher briefs and understand classroom context to instantly translate them into structured notes, progress, and administration-related outputs. This way, teaching personnel are kept away from screens and dedicated to children, and administration personnel are updated instantly about academics, administration, and admissions.
“CuePilot is disrupting the way we think about early ed technology with an AI-native, voice-first model that, in my opinion, will set the bar for what I call the ‘next frontier in technology engagement”, said Ronnie Screwvala, founder, Unilazer Ventures. The outcome space in early ed has the greatest foundation, and voice will enable the most inclusive and efficient modality for delivering personalized learning in real time. This team understands the preschool landscape exceedingly well and has a balanced OS product mix that sets them up to address a massive and rapidly shifting market.
More dual-income families mean that high-quality childcare is in higher demand, but teachers find themselves mired in administration. There is huge data generation in preschools regarding attendance, health records, images, evaluations, payments, and communication with parents, but most of these lie in WhatsApp, spreadsheets, or old applications.
This is because the international early years education sector is estimated to reach a value of $676.7 billion by the year 2030. “Teaching in preschools is a really difficult job for teachers”, said Ankur Agarwal, co-founder and CEO, who had earlier introduced Arthshala, a Reggio-inspired preschool in Kolkata. Eighty percent of their work involves tasks that are not classroom-bound, and that is a pity. We realized that we could develop CuePilot, an automation tool that could do 80 percent of this work for them.

Voice capture and LLM reasoning transform unstructured class stories into institutional memory. That is definitely the opportunity within early ed, where data is seldom collected and the more one personalizes, the better. “We’re excited about investing behind a team that is winning by developing products that sync with stakeholders’ natural workflow, and that can deliver within India”, said Preeti Sampat, partner, Eximius Ventures.
CuePilot currently supports more than 130 schools in India and the SE Asian region, with the vision to touch 1,000 schools over the next 12-18 months, with very aggressive marketing and entry into the US market. Early adopters are finding benefits such as faster teacher adoption, better parent engagement, and several hours per week saved on administration.
"CuePilot is creating a defining product for the future education market. At Titan, we believe in supporting founders who have a clear insight into a big market that is underserved. This team has just that", said the spokesperson for Titan Capital.
