Goa Foundation, in its Global Knowledge Outreach program, arranged for an Educational Round Table with a senior delegation from Zimbabwe. The Zimbabwean contingent was headed by Moses Mhike, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, Olicah Kaira, Chief Director Primary, Secondary and Non-Formal Education, and Ashell Ruswa, CEO of Errymaple Group of Schools, Zvishavane. The Goan visit of the delegation was arranged by Yogesh Kerkar, MD, Qurious Minds.
The trustees present on behalf of Vibrant Goa Foundation were Rajkumar Kamat, Arman Bankley, Manoj Patil, Vinay Verma, Rasik Naik, Dinesh Dhulapkar, Ajay Gramopadhya, Gautam Kharangate and Milind Anvekar. Round Table also had representation from top educational institutions of Goa such as Goa University, Dempo College, MES College, Directorate of Higher Education, Don Bosco College of Engineering, Goa Institute of Management, Government Polytechnic and more.
The discussions were centered on idea-sharing, best practice, and opportunities for collaboration. Appreciation was conveyed by the Zimbabwean team for Goa's efforts in promoting technology adoption at schools and for Vibrant Goa Foundation's initiative in building global knowledge partnerships. They specifically mentioned areas like EdTech, STEM, GIS, Robotics, Drones, Learning Management Systems, and ICT solutions where they are interested in looking for solutions and collaboration.

Significantly, the visit was also preceded by the recent Amazing Goa Summit, which was celebrated as a massive success in placing Goa on the map as a hub for innovation, learning, and entrepreneurship. The success of the event created the platform for serious international interactions like this Zimbabwean visit.
Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Moses Mhike expressed fulfillment with the visit and emphasized the visible opportunities and synergies between Goa and Zimbabwe to move this relationship ahead. Building momentum further, it was pointed out that Qurious Minds has already begun cooperation with a Zimbabwean business, highlighting the real business results being seen from these interactions.
Rajkumar Kamat captured the fruitful roundtable and invited the Zimbabwean delegation to attend the forthcoming Global Tech Summit and Global Business Expo & Summit 2026. This effort is a giant leap towards establishing avenues for Goan businesses, startups, and educational institutions to interact with international counterparts to foster innovation and entrepreneurship within the education sector.
