    • Hands-on AI training for 100 students across Korea, with real-world problem solving, team projects, and practical exposure to AI tools and technologies
    • Mentorship from top university faculty and LG AI experts, combining academic guidance with industry insights to help students understand both theory and real applications
    • Global exposure and skill-focused learning pathways, including international study visits, collaboration with global peers, and early preparation for future careers in AI and technology

LG has launched the third edition of its AI Youth Camp in partnership with Seoul National University (SNU), aiming to nurture future-ready AI talent at an early age. The program began with a three-day residential session at SNU and will continue for 10 weeks until May.

The camp brings together 100 students from across the country, who will work in teams to solve real-life problems using artificial intelligence. They will receive close guidance from 25 mentors, including SNU professors, graduate students, and undergraduates. The focus is on building practical skills, critical thinking, and confidence in emerging technologies.

Faculty members from Seoul National University and Sangmyung University are leading sessions on AI basics, computer vision, design thinking, and coding. Adding industry perspective, Lee Jin-sik, Head of LG AI Research’s Exaone Lab, delivered a special lecture on language models and shared insights into the development of LG’s AI model, EXAONE.

In May, LG will select 15 top-performing students from the program. These students will travel to the United States in July to visit Stanford University, Silicon Valley tech firms, and LG Technology Ventures. They will also join a global AI program, collaborating with students from other countries.

The camp is free of cost and open annually to students from Grade 6 to Grade 8, with applications starting every September. Through initiatives like this and the LG Discovery Lab, LG continues to invest in digital skills, future jobs, and inclusive AI education.
