Moroccan Students Gain Global Tech Exposure with Huawei

    • Huawei Morocco, with the Ministry of Higher Education, trains students in advanced digital technologies.
    • Moroccan students travel to Dongguan and Shenzhen, China, joining peers from multiple countries for hands-on tech training.
    • Special academic mobility for PhD students covers cloud computing, digital infrastructure, and exposure to Huawei’s innovation hubs.

    Huawei Morocco, in collaboration with the Moroccan Ministry of Higher Education, has launched the 2025 edition of its flagship program, Seeds for the Future, aimed at training Moroccan students in advanced digital technologies and preparing them for future careers in the tech world.

    From August 18 to 23, Moroccan university students are participating in a learning journey in Dongguan and Shenzhen, China, cities renowned for digital innovation. They are joining students from countries including Japan and The Netherlands, creating an international network of young talents.

    The program offers a mix of theory and hands-on practice, focusing on tools and skills in digitization and other strategic technology areas. Students will also visit Huawei’s Innovation Center to explore the company’s latest technologies and gain practical insights into the digital world.

    In addition, a special academic mobility program will be held from August 23 to 28 in Shenzhen for Moroccan PhD students. This program will cover key areas such as cloud computing and digital infrastructures, offering exposure to multiple sectors. Participants will meet world-class researchers and experts while exploring Huawei’s innovation hubs, helping them strengthen their knowledge in information and communication technologies (ICT).

    Jason Chen, Vice President of Huawei Morocco, described Seeds for the Future as a “unique opportunity” for young Moroccan talents to receive high-quality training and direct access to advanced technologies. He added that the program helps prepare the next generation of digital leaders while enhancing Morocco’s position on the global innovation stage.

    Through this initiative, Huawei Morocco aims to empower students with practical skills, international exposure, and innovative thinking, equipping them to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving digital world.
