OpenLearning Limited (ASX: OLL), an AI-powered learning management system (LMS) provider, has entered into a five-year, usage-based SaaS agreement with Cebu Institute of Technology University (CIT) in the Philippines. Signed on August 12, 2025, the deal will see CIT University deploy OpenLearning’s LMS across all its faculties and programs. The agreement is expected to generate minimum contracted SaaS fees of around A$340,000 (US$221,000) over the five-year term, with potential for additional revenue based on platform usage.
CIT University, a leading private higher education institution in Cebu City, selected OpenLearning after evaluating multiple LMS providers. Under the agreement, a minimum of 20,000 students per year will use the platform. OpenLearning’s tools, including outcome-based education modules, ePortfolio systems, and generative AI-enabled course design, are aimed at enhancing student engagement, improving graduate employability, and increasing institutional efficiency.
Adam Brimo, CEO of OpenLearning, highlighted the strategic importance of the partnership, noting that collaborating with a prominent private university recognised as a Centre of Excellence in Information Technology Education validates the platform’s capabilities. He added that the partnership reflects a shared vision of delivering industry-relevant education to prepare graduates for the modern workforce.

The partnership marks a key milestone for OpenLearning in expanding its presence in the Philippines and demonstrates growing demand for AI-powered LMS solutions in higher education.
