- Partnership offers hands-on training and industry exposure for students
- Internships and studio visits to support job-ready skills in game design
- Focus on building talent pipelines for games and interactive media
Savvy Games Group has partnered with the American University of Bahrain to strengthen practical learning and career readiness for students interested in game design and interactive media. The collaboration is formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding and operates under Savvy Academy, the group’s talent development platform.
The partnership aims to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real industry practice. Students from AUBH’s College of Media and Design will gain access to internship opportunities, studio visits, and structured engagement with Savvy’s professional teams. These experiences are designed to help students understand real production workflows and develop skills aligned with industry expectations.
As part of the program, selected students will also get exposure to Savvy’s operations in Riyadh, offering a closer look at how global game studios operate. This direct interaction helps students build confidence, improve technical skills, and prepare for careers in a fast-growing creative sector.

The collaboration is part of Savvy Academy’s wider effort to work with regional universities to expand access to practical training, improve employability, and create clear career pathways in games and esports.
