TheBlock, a Dubai-based virtual asset infrastructure and tokenisation company, has entered a global partnership with CENTURY 21 UAE & India to educate and equip one of the world’s largest real estate networks with the knowledge and tools needed to participate in tokenised property investment.
The collaboration will focus on training CENTURY 21’s extensive network of real estate professionals spanning more than 14,000 offices in 82 countries on real-world asset (RWA) tokenisation, blockchain technology, digital ownership and the regulatory framework surrounding virtual assets. Through structured certification programmes, workshops and ongoing industry engagement, agents will gain practical understanding of how tokenisation can expand traditional property markets and open access to new investors and capital.
Although CENTURY 21’s full global network exceeds 400,000 agents, the initial education and onboarding efforts will prioritise key international markets including the United States, Australia, China and India, reaching more than 200,000 professionals in the first phase. The programmes are designed to help agents confidently introduce clients to tokenised investment opportunities while remaining compliant with evolving regulations.
Beyond education, the partnership creates commercial pathways for agents. Participants will gain access to tokenised real estate opportunities developed through TheBlock’s ecosystem and CENTURY 21 UAE & India’s Connectr platform. This dual approach training plus distribution aims to position CENTURY 21 professionals at the forefront of a rapidly evolving segment of the property market.
The timing aligns with strong momentum in Dubai’s real estate sector. Property transactions in the emirate rose 31 per cent to AED 252 billion in the first quarter of 2026. Dubai’s population has grown from 2.65 million in 2016 to more than four million today and is projected to reach 5.8 million by 2033, underpinning sustained demand for both traditional and innovative forms of property investment.
Farbod Sadeghian, founder of TheBlock, described the partnership as a way to scale access to tokenisation across the industry. “The next generation of real estate will expand the traditional market. Tokenization gives the industry access to entirely new investors, new capital, and new ways to transact. Partnering with CENTURY 21 allows us to bring these opportunities to thousands of real estate professionals around the world through education, technology, and compliant infrastructure,” he said.
Peter Matthews, Group CEO of Century 21 UAE & India, said the decision followed careful evaluation of the technology and infrastructure. “After evaluating the opportunities presented by tokenisation and seeing the maturity of TheBlock’s infrastructure and ecosystem, it became clear that this was the right partner to help bring these capabilities to our network. This partnership enables us to educate our real estate professionals, unlock new opportunities for our clients, and stay at the forefront of the evolving real estate landscape,” he added.
The agreement also establishes a global distribution network. Tokenised real estate opportunities launched through TheBlock’s ecosystem will be able to reach CENTURY 21’s international agent base, connecting future issuers with established professional channels across multiple markets. This structure is intended to support both education and practical adoption, helping agents move from awareness to active participation in tokenised transactions.
CENTURY 21’s presence in the region is relatively recent. The brand signed master franchise agreements for India and the UAE in November 2024 and formally launched in the UAE on 26 January 2026, designating its first Dubai office as the regional headquarters for the Middle East. The partnership with TheBlock forms part of a broader strategy to integrate emerging technologies into the brand’s offering as it expands in the Gulf and South Asia.
TheBlock, headquartered at One Central in Dubai, operates a 6,000-square-foot ecosystem hub that brings together founders, investors, institutions, regulators and strategic partners. The company focuses on virtual asset infrastructure, tokenisation and market enablement, positioning itself as a connector within the digital asset economy.

Industry observers note that tokenisation of real estate remains an emerging field. Success will depend on clear regulation, robust technology platforms and widespread professional understanding. By prioritising education and certification for a large, established agent network, the TheBlock–CENTURY 21 partnership seeks to address one of the main barriers to adoption: limited familiarity among traditional real estate professionals with blockchain-based ownership models.
The collaboration establishes a long-term framework centred on education, innovation and expanded access to tokenised real estate. As certification programmes and workshops roll out across target markets, the partners expect a growing number of CENTURY 21 agents to become equipped to discuss digital ownership options with clients and to facilitate participation in tokenised investment opportunities.
For real estate professionals, the initiative offers structured pathways to upskill in a technology that could reshape how property is bought, sold and owned. For clients, it promises greater choice and potentially lower barriers to entry through fractional ownership models. And for the broader market, it represents an attempt to bridge traditional property expertise with the infrastructure of the virtual asset economy.
As Dubai continues to position itself as a regional hub for both real estate and digital assets, partnerships of this kind are likely to play an increasing role in shaping how the next generation of property investment is understood and delivered. TheBlock and CENTURY 21’s agreement places education at the centre of that transition, aiming to ensure that agents and the clients they serve are prepared for the changes ahead.
